POSITION SUMMARY

The Cabinet Installer is responsible for proper delivery and installation of Cabinetry, Countertops, and Solid Surface.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The following duties are typical for this classification. Employees may not perform all of the duties as listed and may be required to perform additional or different duties from those set forth below in alignment with business needs and changing business practices.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS include but are not limited to:

  1. Install cabinetry plumb and level according to written or verbal instruction.
  2. Read a tape measure.
  3. Be present and on time daily.
  4. Solve problems daily.
  5. Prioritize and organize materials and goods by room.
  6. Load and unload materials at jobsites and facilities.
  7. Keep a competitive pace while handling materials with care.
  8. Maintain professionalism at all times.
  9. Listen, anticipate, and adapt to team leads instructions.
  10.  Use hand tools daily  
  11.  Work with Lumber, Laminate, Solid Surface, and Adhesives.
  12.  Read and understand blueprints.
  13.  Possess quality over quantity mindset.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

These knowledge, skills and abilities are usually obtained by a work history of 2 years or more, equal or similar experience. Other education and experience may be considered as well.
